An Ongoing Experience: Used Ford Trucks

If you're looking for a workhorse of a truck with lots of grit, capability, and longevity, then you need a truck with the experience to back itself up. Firmly rooted as one of America's automotive pioneers, Ford Motor Company has the experience to back itself up, and they have the trucks to keep drivers coming back. Because of the years behind the brand, you don't need to buy a brand new vehicle to be driving well with Ford; a brief stroll through a used Ford dealership will have you seeing automotive excellence throughout the years gone by. So, if you're trying to buy a top-notch truck while saving some dough, we're going to take a look at the Ford truck lineup in the pre-owned department. more 2019 F-150 This may be the most iconic pickup truck of this generation, and for a good reason! This truck exceeds on all fronts. Receiving significant engineering upgrades, the 2019 Ford F-150 can reach up to 450 horsepower and 510 pounds-feet of torque; this truck isn't slacking off in the performance sector. In fact, that's more than any other leading pickup truck. Performance specs like that make the trucking experience significantly more enjoyable. Whether you are working and need the extra strength to get the job done, or if you are playing hard and want a little more kick to your drive, you will enjoy having the opportunity for such high-performance specs. We think you will especially enjoy them if you plan to take the vehicle off-roading, but there is a lot more to be said about off-roading, and we'll get there in just a moment. Because of its large and strong architecture, a used Ford F-150 provides a terrific amount of space for both passengers and cargo. While the regular cab seats three passengers and optimizes pickup bed length, the SuperCrew cab seats up to six passengers. This cab breaks the pickup mold; while trucks are not typically known for generous seating, the SuperCrew cab has the potential to seat more passengers than most CUVs. But, of course, when you're looking at a pickup, the dimensions with which one should be most concerned are those of the pickup bed itself. With a maximum cargo volume of 77.4 cubic feet and a maximum payload of 3,270 pounds, the 2019 F-150's bed is set and ready to go, no matter what it may be carrying and how much of it there is. Take it a step further by hitching your trailer there; even if it weighs up to 11,400 pounds, you'll be sailing. Thanks to a variety of advanced trailering technologies, towing will be easier than ever in your F-150. In terms of technology, the F-150 is well-equipped with a variety of advanced safety features and innovative entertainment and connectivity technologies. Technology is a sector where it is easy for drivers to fall into the trap of thinking that to buy used means to get dated technology; however, 2019 was not long ago at all, and technology from within the past five years will still be very up-to-date. So, worry not, the F-150 has been excellent for a long time, meaning that whatever model year you end up purchasing will provide you with an excellent truck. 2019 Ford Ranger The F-150 is an excellent truck, but not everybody needs something so big. Well, that is where the Ford Ranger pops in to provide a vehicle coming from the same brand with the same background experience but a little less girth in its architecture. The Ranger made a big comeback to the Ford lineup in 2019. Though this is a mid-size pickup and may appear smaller than the F-150, do not be fooled: the Ranger is Built Ford Tough, and it will be proven by the vehicle's abilities. The exterior appears firm and athletic, but it is even stronger than it looks, thanks to a high-strength steel frame. This is a huge asset to a pickup truck, as the driving you will be doing will naturally come with some bumps and obstacles along the way; you want a vehicle that is built to withstand the natural occurrences of work and play. The 2019 Ranger is equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, allowing it to perform at 270 horsepower and 310 pounds-feet of torque. Do not be tempted to compare these numbers to the F-150: a full-size pickup and a mid-size pickup are not the same, and they are in completely different classes. The Ranger has excellent numbers for its class, and they can't be compared to the F-150. This EcoBoost engine, which is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, will give you some thrills and help you get the job done when it's time to work. A used Ford Ranger is a highly-capable and has excellent architecture and leading technology. What more could be said? 2020 Raptor One of the most exciting and unique parts of purchasing a Ford is the dynamic selection of trim options. While some vehicles get funky and mathematical with trim names, the F-150 keeps it simple and fun with specific and creative names to make the trims more exciting. If excitement is what you are looking for, have a look at the F-150 Raptor. This trim takes the already-excellent F-150 and turns it into an off-road vehicle. The F-150 Raptor does, of course, make some adjustments to the physical design of the vehicle to make it more equipped for the trails. But one area that is left unaffected is performance. Going with the Raptor does not diminish the impressive F-150 performance specs previously discussed but rather narrows them: for the 2020 F-150 Raptor, the only option is the Hi-Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. This means that your only option with a used Ford F-150 Raptor is to have the capacity to reach that 450 horsepower and 510 pounds-feet of torque. We guess you'll just have to deal with having the best performance specs and an even more exciting build! 2018 Super Duty The name says it all. This truck isn't just heavy-duty: it's Super Duty. Going a step (or three) up from the F-150, your Super Duty Options are the F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-650, and F-750. It just depends on how high you want to go! Once you get above the F-450, you'll start to look at more industrial vehicles. So, we'll stick with the F-450 and below, which keeps us in the world of pickups. In 2018, the Super Duty was exceeding its siblings on all fronts. Able to reach up to 935 pounds-feet of torque, the Super Duty is a true workhorse. With a towing capacity of 14,000 lbs. and a maximum payload of 7,630 lbs., you may have a hard time even tapping into the Super Duty's full potential. The F-150 will suit you well if you need to work, but if you're looking to push your truck to its limits, a used Super Duty truck is the clear way to go. The Experience Continues Ford does indeed have years of experience behind every one of its trucks, as well as every one of its vehicles. But that experience was not a one-and-done event; rather, Ford continues to cultivate experience every year, and from that experience, it adapts and upgrades to better serve its drivers. This is why we see a new model year for every vehicle: the experience is never complete. It is an ongoing process, and every model year provides you with a truck that is completely unique. So, no matter what year you decide to purchase your used Ford truck, we know you'll be pleased with what you find.

A Year of the Capable: Ford 2022

Every year is a good year for Ford. How could it not be? Ford is one of the best brands on the market, and a true staple of American automation. 2022, however, has some especially unique things in store to give every year prior a run for its money. Just walk into a new Ford dealership, and you'll see. As the automotive industry grows increasingly electric while simultaneously making leaps and bounds in engineering, vehicles have never been more capable than they are today. As always, Ford is a leader in this exciting time, and the theme of this year is capability. So, today, we have selected four of the most exciting models of 2022. Let's see what we've got! more 2022 Mustang Mach-E The automotive industry is going electric, and this is good news. Electric vehicles are among the most exciting on the market in all sectors-power, capability, design, and everything in-between. The Mustang is a staple of the Ford brand and the automotive world at large. When you hear "Mustang," you know what it means. But you don't yet know what this Mustang means, but we know you'll like it. This all-electric vehicle bears the iconic Mustang logo but bears an even bolder, sleeker, and stronger exterior. With its sharp colors (including the new Blue Silver Metallic), dark complexion, and highly sporty appearance, you can't help but wonder what's inside. This electrified car comes with a highly-electrified interior as well. With a 15.5-inch touch screen (yes, it's that big) equipped with SYNC 4A, drivers are in for one of the most technologically-advanced in-vehicle experiences currently on the market. All of this is designed to enhance the absolutely astonishing capability of this all-electric Mustang. The new Mustang Mach-E is able to reach up to 480 horsepower and 600 pounds-feet of torque. Those numbers are near-impossible to find even on the strongest and largest of vehicles anywhere else; numbers like that are contained in an electric vehicle of this compact size is truly astonishing, and you will find them even more astonishing behind the wheel. Now, one of the most important questions to address when it comes to an electric vehicle is that of efficiency. With an EPA-estimated range of 314 miles on the extended range battery, we think it is fair to say that the Mach-E is pretty darn efficient. Not only is it fuel-efficient, but it is also time-efficient, as drivers of the Performance Edition will enjoy the distinct thrill of accelerating from 0-60 miles-per-hour in 3.5 seconds. "That's impossible," you may say. But, what is impossible for other vehicles is possible for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E. 2022 F-150 Lightning Seeing as electric vehicles are so much fun, capable, and wonderfully stylish, let's stick with the theme. You all know the F-150. How could you not? The F-series is America's best-selling truck. It makes sense, seeing as the F-150 is one of the most capable and iconic trucks on the market. Imagine taking that and making it electric. Imagine no longer because it's been done. Now, before we go any further, avid fans of the F-150 may not know what to think of this, as change can be difficult. But, fear not, because these changes are all to the strength of this fantastic truck. Going electric has not in any way diminished the F-150's iconic capability but has, in fact, strengthened and heightened it. This is the most highly-capable F-150 ever built. Don't believe us? We'll prove it to you. When equipped with the extended-range battery, the new Ford F-150 Lightning is able to reach 563 horsepower and 775 pounds-feet of torque. If those numbers didn't blow your mind, go back and reread the previous sentence. We'll wait. Those aren't numbers you will find on any previous F-150, nor are those numbers easy to come across anywhere else. You'll feel those impressive numbers kick in quickly too when you find yourself accelerating from 0-60 miles per hour in the mid-four second range. The F-150 Lightning is not messing around, but you may have some fun messing around with it once you get behind the wheel. Speaking of messing around, the F-150 Lightning is not just a star on the road but also off the road. With 4X4 performance, underbody protection, skid plates, a lithium-ion battery pack, and a whole lot of energy and strength, this electric F-150 will give you the trailblazing experience of a lifetime. Part of what makes this possible is the vehicle's dynamic choices of drive modes-Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul, the vehicle is ready to cater to the task at hand. Speaking of towing and hauling, the F-150 Lightning has a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds and a maximum payload of 2,000 pounds. Towing is made easier through highly-advanced towing technology, especially its hitch assistance features. But, all of these performance and capability features are just the beginning, though. Hard to believe? The vehicle's spacious interior will have you set up with a highly-capable and highly-technological work experience, including an interior work surface and 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen equipped with SYNC 4A. The F-150 Lightning truly pulls out all the stops, and it is not slowing down. If somehow, you are still not convinced that this electric F-150 is the most highly-capable F-150 ever built, we encourage you to come in for a test drive because we think your mind will be changed rather quickly. 2022 Bronco No matter what year, the Bronco is a fantastic vehicle, especially if you are looking for fun and adventure. Because Ford is constantly progressing, the Bronco is as well. The 2022 Bronco brings in some exciting new features-notably, the Sasquatch Package leans into the vehicle's off-roading capability with seven-speed manual transmission. Driving stick-shift is fun! It keeps drivers more involved with the vehicle and with the road. Additionally, the Sasquatch package adds class-first 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires. Off-roading requires the proper foundation, which begins with the tires-and these tires provide the foundation you want for off-roading. As always, the new Ford Bronco develops its impressive four-wheel drive technology for amazing driving that will provide you with fun and thrills, both on the trail and the road. With two-door and four-door options plus the iconic open-roof option, this vehicle will excite you to hit the pavement and dirt, whether you're flying solo or enjoying it with friends. A Year of the Capable Ford has always been a leader in capability. It keeps leading, pushing forward, and those efforts continue to bear fruit, as we can see in these three profound vehicles. If you're going to invest in a vehicle, you want something that will serve you well at work, at play, on the road, off the road, and everywhere in-between. Ford knows how to make versatile vehicles that serve specific audiences while being highly flexible for a variety of occasions and interests. We firmly believe there is no such thing as a bad Ford. But the vehicles we have selected here are truly champions among champions. You've never seen Fords like these, and we think you'll like them as much as we do! We welcome you to come down and see for yourself!
